Tips for a Safe Night Out in Boston
Don’t leave your drinks unattended. If possible, use an alcotop on your bottle – drugs can be slipped into an unattended glass or bottle – don’t let it be yours.
If you and your friends are going out drinking ensure that someone remains sober in case of emergencies. Know your limits.
Stay with friends throughout the evening. Don’t wander around on your own under the influence and make sure your mates know where you are. Tell someone at home where you are going.
If you feel unwell, try and inform a member of staff and don’t be afraid to tell them what you have taken – it could save your life. They are trained to help!
Get home safely! Go home with friends but if you are on your own, ensure that you use a properly marked taxi. Don’t accept a life from someone you do not know.
Don’t leave your wallet or handbag unattended at any time and make sure it’s secure and the contents aren’t on show for all to see, such as mobile phones, as this will attract thieves.
Finally, have a wonderful night out and if you have an emergency ring the Police on 999 or Boston (01205) 366222.
